The black & white photos for the colorization can be selected from the gallery, or they can be shared from the other applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Chrome or Google Photos. The colorized result images can be shared to the other applications, or saved into the gallery.
No watermarks nor any other additions are made to the images!
All the functionality of the Colorize Images application can be used for free for the first 10 colorizations. The use after the trial period requires watching an Ad or purchasing a subscription with monthly or yearly renewal, or access time with a single payment.
The monthly subscription rate is about $1.50 and yearly subscription rate about $10.00 depending on the local taxes etc. The 8 hour access time is about $1.00. The exact rates for your country/state are shown in the app. The active purchases allow unlimited number of colorizations.
The service uses network data and external GPU capacity to provide the colorization functionality. This means that the source images are sent to a remote location over the network, colorized there and the resulting images are then received from the remote location over the network.
For the best result, the source image is recommended to have:
• good quality
• good contrast
• good focus
• and correct orientation
The images not having all these properties may work fine, but some preprocessing (like contrast correction or sharpening) usually improves the result.
