“Clear Water” is based on a social cause called “Save Water”. The situation of water is horrible in the world. Taking lesson from the cape town incidence everyone shall take more & more efforts individually. “Clear Water” is an activity which is helping everyone to save water.
How it works :

Drinking water is provided in every hotel & food joints, it’s been observed that when you sit on the table before placing food order a waiter put glass full of water on your table for each member of your group. People drink a little water from that glass & rest of the water remains in the glass (say 250 ml water is still there in the glasses). The boy/waiter again tops it up. During your meal you drink water as per your requirements, whenever your glass gets empty the boy again pours water in it. This is a very normal thing as we see in everywhere. However it is observed that when you leave the table about 250 ml water is still there in those glasses. When I asked some hotel owners about what do they do with that leftover water to which they said they throw it off which goes in drainage.

Every day approx 50 customers are visiting the hotel, if we consider 50 ml water per customer is wasted then in a day 2.5 liters of water is being wasted per hotel, in a city where there are minimum 500 hotels total 330.21 gallons water is just wasted. This water is drinkable water, properly processed & made it worth drinking. Such drinkable water is being wasted in a big volume every day.

The above facts & figures are very disturbing, so can we do something best to save this water in a conservatory form? The answer is YES. Now let’s take a look at the other part of the picture.

In every hotel the water is used for multiple tasks & hence approximately equal amount of water (about 330.21 gallons) is used & wasted every day. In this case if the drinkable water which is being thrown off is re-used then we can save 330.21 gallons of water every day.
How to re-use this water?

By installing a filtration system in every hotel only to filter the leftover water & re-use it for washing & cleaning purpose, and then we can save major part of water which was going to be wasted.

To reward them we will allot certification to hotels who will install such filtration system & re-use the water in their hotels & food joints. We will label them with “Clear Water”. We will promote this concept of “Clear Water” enabled hotel to masses, so that awareness towards such hotels that are helping in saving water is created. We will be developing an mobile application thru which customers can search for such “Clear Water” sticker holding hotels in vicinity, also the sticker of “Clear Water” installed at the hotel will communicate with the app thru unique QR Code allotted to that particular hotel or food joint & tell the customer that this particular hotel or food joint is a “Clear Water” hotel & this hotel re-use the leftover water for other purposes & do not offer it to guests for drinking neither they use the re-used water in food preparation.

This will also help hotel owners to increase footfalls.

Selling the filtration system is not the only activity here if any hotel is already using any such system & re-using the water we can still certify them with “Clear Water” & make them our certified member.
