What’s New On New Version Of CheckIn@ISS
Modifications to improve performance under Bluetooth 5 conditions (where more beacons are detected):
• Use of pre-lookup of known beacons at app start-up
• No “on-the-fly” lookup of each beacon detected during check in/out operation (hence reduced queries back to the server)
• Continuous scanning for beacons during check in/out operations
• Manual control (by the user) of when to switch to QR Code scanning rather than a timeout based switch
